Cycling is Life

Today, the plan was to ride 179 kms from Caceres to Plasencia, however once again the temperature was 43º at midday and it was impossible. The morning started warm and windy, but improved rapidly with the wind becoming cooler between Arroyo de la Luz and Moraleja where you are at higher altitudes and then became very hot on the descent to Coria. I finished the day with 132.66 kms in 4:56:41. I am hoping that tomorrow in the mountains the temperatures will be better. I am also including some pictures taken in Caceres last night and one taken in Coria today. When I get home and solve the technical difficulties I am having with the camera and my telephone I will post more.

Hoy el plan era hacer 179 km de Cáceres a Plasencia, pero una vez mas teníamos una temperatura de 43 al medio día y fue imposible. El día comenzó caluroso y ventoso, pero mejoró con haciendose el viento mas frio entre Arroyo de la Luz and Moraleja donde se alcanza la altitud máxima y luego se vuelve muy caluroso en el descenso a Coria. He terminado con 132.66 km en 4:56:41. Espero que mañana en las montañas la temperatura este mejor. Incluyo algunas fotos de Cáceres anoche y Coria hoy. Me hubiera gustado poner mas fotos durante el viaje pero debido a problemas técnicos las pondré después.
