The Valverde Fiasco

Finally, 4 years after Operation Puerto, Alejandro Valverde has been sanctioned because the CAS has upheld the appeals of the UCI and WADA against the Spanish cycling federation (RFEC) and Alejandro Valverde. However, the CAS refused to negate any of Alejandro Valverde’s results during the past four years, which can only serve to reinforce the idea that doping is worth the risk. Even if you get caught, you are still the champion, although you had to cheat to get there, as you can see from the list below:
Finalmente, 4 años después de Operación Puerto, Alejandro Vaverde ha sido sancionado porque el CAS ha apoyado la apelación de la UCI y la WADA contra la federación ciclista española (RFEC) y Alejandro Valverde. Sin embargo, el CAS ha rechazado quitar los trofeos que Alejandro Valverde ha conseguido durante los pasados 4 años, lo que solo puede reforzar la idea que de que vale la pena el riesgo que supone el doping. Incluso si te pillan, todavía eres campeón, aunque hayas engañado para serlo, como puedes ver en la lista siguiente:

In my opinion, everyone of those results should be negated and as others have had to do, Alejandro should have to repay the past four years of wages that he has collected.
En mi opinión, cada uno de estos resultados deberían ser anulados y ,como otros han tenido que hacer, Alejandro debería tener que devolver el salario que ha recibido en los últimos cuatro años.
