Saturday October 1st

This morning when I started my ride in Pradena del Rincon it was with the cool temperatures of the fall, only 7 degrees, it's definitely time to start dressing in a warmer way. The first climb to Puerto de La Puebla is not difficult and has many places that it is not very steep and give you a chance to recover from any efforts that you make.

After reaching the top of La Puebla I turned around and headed back down the same way until I reached the intersection and turned towards La Hiruela, to find that there was an unexpected climb there on my way to my second planned climb of the day.
After passing La HiruelaI happened to come across 6 javalis crossing the road and then I continued on to Corralejo and descended to the river to begin my second planned climb which was the more difficult of the two, with the first few kilometers being the most difficult, as you can see on the profile.
In the video you can see that the first several kilometers of this climb are on concrete instead of asphalt which is a good indication of the steepness of the climb, also this appears to be a place where there are frequent rock falls.
After finishing the Peñalba climb there only remained the return trip to Pradena del Rincon with the unexpected climb of the Puerto de La Hiruela again, this time from the longer side.
All in all a nice ride on a cooler fall day, a little more than 70 kilometers with just over 2000 meters of climbing.
