Cycling is Life

This stage was impossible to start in the same way as the original because bicycles are not allowed on the E-902, so I had to find another way to arrive at the A-308, which resulted in a detour adding approximately 20 kms to the route, as well as 10 kms more for construction detours. The category 3 climb to Alto de Encebras is the easiest climb of the day, I don't remember doing it. All the others are more difficult, with the entry into La Guardia de Jaén, being the shortest but probably the steepest. I arrived in Jaén with 155.64 kms in 6:10:10 and did not do the 2 laps through the city, which of course would be much easier on closed streets.

Esta etapa era imposible empezarla en la misma forma de lo que lo fue originariamente porque esta prohibido circular con bicicletas por la E-902, así que tuve que encontrar otra forma de llegar a la A-308, lo que resultó en una vuelta que añadió 20 km a la ruta, además de otras vueltas de unos 10 km en total por obras en la carretera. La subida de tercera categoria al Alto de Encebras es la mas facil del día. No recuerdo haberla hecho. Las demás son más difíciles, siendo la entrada a La Guardia de Jaén la mas corta pero probablemente la de mayor pendiente. He entrado en Jaén con 155.64 km en 6:10:10 y no he hecho las dos vueltas a la ciudad, que por supuesto habrían sido mucho mas fáciles con las calles cortadas al tráfico.
