My Hair

This year, I am going to be 52 years old and I still have all my hair. Some would say that is quite an accomplishment, as there are quite a number of men who cannot say the same and those that can are quite proud of the fact. That being said, I am challenging all of you to make me cut off all my hair except the part which spells out LIVESTRONG.

Today, February 4th is World Cancer Day. All of us have been affected in some way by this disease, we have all known someone, family members or friends or friend’s families that have had to deal with this disease. Cancer is quickly becoming the number one cause of death in the world and we can stop it.
My challenge is, that if there are 5000 dollars worth of donations to my LIVESTRONG page http://seattle2010.livestrong.org/mlambert before the start of the 1st Vuelta a España de Cicloturismo on July the 5th, 2010, in which I will be participating, then I will shave off all my hair except for the word LIVESTRONG.
Este año voy a cumplir 52 años y todavía conservo todo mi pelo. Algunos dirían que esto es todo un logro, ya que hay un número considerable de hombres que no pueden decir lo mismo, por lo que los que podemos estamos bastante orgullosos de este hecho. Habiendo dicho esto, os reto a todos vosotros a que me hago afeitar el pelo excepto una parte que diga LIVESTRONG.
Hoy, 4 de febrero, es el día contra el cáncer. Todos hemos sido afectados por esta enfermedad, todos conocemos a alguien, familiares, amigos, familiares de amigos que han tenido que afrontar esta enfermedad. El cáncer se esta convirtiendo rápidamente en la primera causa de muerte en el mundo y nosotros podemos pararlo.
Mi reto es que si consigo que la gente done 5000 dólares a la fundación LIVESTRONG contra el cáncer en la página http://seattle2010.livestrong.org/mlambert antes del comienzo de la 1ª Vuelta a España de Cicloturismo el 5 de Julio de este año, me afeitare la cabeza excepto el nombre de LIVESTRONG para ese evento.
