Doping Control or Witch Hunt?

We have all seen the case of Alejandro Valverde in the news, we know that through names on blood bags he was tied to Dr. Fuentes, however there was no real proof until he was banned by the Italians. However, we are still not sure that the proof they have is real and we will not know if that sanction is justified until the Court of Arbitration (CAS) for Sport decides upon that in March. They did, however decide not to extend the Italian ban to other countries on the 14th of January. Am I the only person who thinks this process is contrary to what it should be? Shouldn’t the CAS decide if the ban in Italy is justified before deciding not to extend the ban? Is anyone really concerned about stopping the use of banned substances in sport or is this just a witch hunt?
Todos hemos visto el caso de Alejandro Valverde en las noticias, sabemos que se le ha ligado al Dr. Fuentes por los nombres en bolsas de sangre, sin embargo no había ninguna confirmación autentica hasta que fue suspendido por los italianos. De cualquier modo, no estamos seguros que la evidencia que tienen sea real y que la sanción esté justificada hasta que el Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS) decida en Marzo. Estos, por otro lado, decidieron no extender la suspensión italiana a otros países el 14 de enero. ¿Soy yo la única persona que cree que este proceso es contrario a como debería ser? ¿No debería el TAS decidir si la suspensión en Italia estaba justificada antes de acordar no extender la suspensión? ¿Hay alguien que realmente esté interesado en parar el uso de sustancias prohibidas en el deporte o es esto solamente una caza de brujas?
